At Dream Detroit Skating Club, we believe that every child deserves the chance to shine on the ice. As a figure skating club dedicated to increasing access for underrepresented youth, we’re breaking barriers and building confidence one glide at a time.

Founded with the mission to make figure skating accessible for Black and Brown youth in Detroit and surrounding communities, Dream Detroit Skating Club provides opportunities that go far beyond the rink. Through lessons, mentorship, and community engagement; our skaters gain resilience, teamwork, and the courage to dream big both on and off the ice.

Your Giving Tuesday gift helps us:

• Provide affordable skating lessons and ice time

• Offer off-ice training and mentorship for young athletes

• Fund costumes, skates, and competition fees 

• Fund travel expenses 

Every dollar helps us create more first-time skaters, more confident performers, and more young leaders who know that their dreams matter.
