America's small culinary businesses, the neighborhood spots, food trucks, family cafes, and coffee shops that give our communities their soul, operate on razor-thin margins. Many are owned by entrepreneurs who have worked their entire lives to get there, often without access to traditional loans or emergency credit. When crisis strikes, insurance doesn't always cover it. Banks don't move fast enough. And employees are left waiting.

That's why Feed the Soul Foundation created the National Emergency Relief Fund, to provide rapid $500 micro-grants to culinary businesses facing urgent financial emergencies: equipment failures, property damage, storm losses, and payroll gaps when a business has had to close.

The fund has already helped dozens of restaurants survive fires, hurricanes, vandalism, and more. But right now, it's nearly depleted and owners are still reaching out for help every week.
