Stand for Kindness (SFK) is taking action by partnering again with United Disaster Relief of Northern California (UDRNC), to help secure UDRNC's new forever home.

Recently, UDRNC was informed that they need to move after three years at their current location. Watch their public announcement with the heartbreaking news. This will be UDRNC's fourth move. Together SFK & UDRNC aim to prevent further relocations by working together to secure a permanent home. Read UDRNC's Call for Help below:

"There is an exciting opportunity to secure a permanent home for UDRNC's disaster resource center, but we need your help to raise $100,000. This new building will allow us to expand services, providing a stable base to assist even more people in need.

This fundraiser aims to

secure UDRNC's new location, which is twice the size of the current location
continue services to our clients & community
enhance the ability to support other nonprofit organizations and disaster relief partners
update the new facility to meet our client's needs
cover costs for the remainder of the year

The Building Hope Campaign will run through the end of 2024, with all grants and other efforts, such as the November Change at the Register fundraiser at Ukiah Natural Foods Co-Op, contributing to the total. Last year, we raised $41K in 40 days; this year, we hope to raise $100K in 5 months to meet the match!"

United Disaster Relief of Northern California (UDRNC) shares a common mission with Stand for Kindness (SFK), real humans helping real people.

UDRNC's team of over 100 volunteers is dedicated to supporting our community through the toughest times, providing long-term recovery services for those impacted by disasters. UDRNC's unique approach ensures that clients receive resources, referrals, and advocacy for up to three years, helping survivors rebuild their lives at their own pace.

The new facility will continue to offer vital resources such as grant assistance, FEMA and Red Cross support, free material goods, and a dedicated space for clients to access laundry services, internet, and office supplies. Watch the Video here.
