Presented by SeaComm and AES, Race Against Poverty is a one-of-a-kind adventure through downtown Watertown where teams of two solve clues, discover local businesses, complete fun challenges, and compete to be the first team across the finish line.

Whether you're in it to win, to laugh with friends, or simply to support a great cause, you're guaranteed a memorable day filled with teamwork, friendly competition, and plenty of surprises.

More Than a Race

Every registration helps United Way of Northern New York support local families facing financial hardship through emergency assistance, Getting Ahead in the Workplace, and Staying Ahead, programs that help individuals and families build greater financial stability and long-term success.

Race Day

Race headquarters will be at The Strand Theater (136 Franklin Street), where teams will check in, begin the race at 10:00 AM, and return to the finish line around 12:00 PM.

After crossing the finish line, stick around for our post-race celebration featuring:

Food and refreshments
Raffles
Awards
Plenty of time to swap stories from the course!

$60 per team (2 participants)

Race entry for both teammates
Event T-shirts for both participants
