Dancing Earth is a visionary, grassroots, contemporary dance organization that blends cultural storytelling, ecological consciousness, and transformative dance practices. Through performances, workshops, and intercultural exchanges across 18 states and 9 countries in the past 20 years, Dancing Earth amplifies diverse perspectives and inspire collective healing. Employing an intergenerational model of artist and community-led programming, Dancing Earth creates dynamic movement spaces that honor BIPOC experiences and wisdom, crafting contemporary performances and practices rooted in these cultural perspectives. By fostering connections between people and the planet, Dancing Earth invites belonging, creativity, and a shift in how dominant society understands diasporic identity and collective liberation.
