Every night, thousands of young people experience homelessness without a parent or guardian — and go to sleep without the safety, stability and support of a family or a home. There are more than 400,000 kids in foster care in the U.S. right now. Every year in the U.S., 23,000 youth age out of foster care without a family or a support system and will possibly end up homeless.

More than 122,000 kids in foster care are waiting to be adopted by a caring and loving family. On a single night in 2020, 34,210 unaccompanied youth were counted as homeless. That’s 579,210 reasons why your support is necessary and will help make the difference.
