What is RIVER-THON?

RIVER-THON is a peer-to-peer fundraising effort. This allows you to share our organization with your network and raise money on behalf of the Delaware Riverkeeper Network while crushing your personal goals!

How can you be a part of RIVER-THON?

Easy! Sign up for a run, walk, ride or swim. You can even create an event of your own!

For example, thinking of doing the Philadelphia Marathon, Rocky Run or the Philly Bike Ride? Or maybe you have a goal of walking 20 miles a week from Memorial Day to Labor Day? You can commit to help raise awareness of the Delaware Riverkeeper Network and raise funds to help support our mission by sharing your fundraiser with friends, family, and co-workers.

Why should you participate in RIVER-THON?

The Delaware Riverkeeper Network is a community-supported watershed organization. We are the only environmental advocacy organization that works throughout the four states of the Delaware River Watershed and at the federal level when issues we take on reach the national stage. We rely on the generosity of our members and every gift we receive has a profound impact on our ability to continue the essential work we do.

When you make your RIVER-THON commitment, you help support our mission and gain the appreciate and support of not only the Delaware Riverkeeper Network, but also of our nearly 30,000 members. As you prepare to take on your identified event, we will support your training efforts across social media with our members cheering you on. We will also use our outreach to help you achieve your fundraising goals.
