Roots Music Project is a non-profit community of music fans and music makers. We believe in the power of music to make the world a better place.

Our mission is to amplify the live music community through performance and artist development. This year alone, we have hosted more than 200 performances, reached 20,000+ audience members, launched a community workshop program, created the groundbreaking TEMPO Highschool Program, paid more than half a million dollars directly to musicians and music industry professionals, and hosted the inaugural Boulder Roots Music Festival, now the largest music festival in our area.

And that’s just the beginning. We’re only getting started, and we have even bigger plans for 2026.
