As the year comes to a close, we want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your support has made it possible for Robin’s Nest Rescue—a small, dedicated sanctuary—to work what seems like magic to many.

With your support, we’ve cared for 29 animals, provided 21,700 meals, and rescued nearly two dozen animals who faced life-or-death situations this year. Every meal, every vet visit, every rescue, and every moment of love depends on compassionate donors like you.

But the need is urgent. As a small nonprofit, rising feed costs, veterinary bills, and the care of aging animals mean we rely on your continued support now more than ever. Without donors like you, the animals who have nowhere else to turn would be left vulnerable.

This year, we welcomed some extraordinary rescues:

Cowboy, a 23-year-old Quarter Horse who spent decades serving as a trusted ranch horse. When a career-ending injury left him at risk of euthanasia, Robin’s Nest Rescue became his safe haven. Today, thanks to your generosity, he lives safely and thrives in our sanctuary.
Bubbles, a young, sweet potbelly pig with multiple health needs, surrendered by his owner.
Daisy, a tiny dachshund-chihuahua mix, with an incredible story all her own. Born in a shelter, she came to us the same day that Lily, our matriarch chihuahua, died.
Twenty senior alpacas, each facing certain death in March this year, now enjoy safety, care, and love.

These animals aren’t just names—they are lives restored. They remind us why Robin’s Nest Rescue exists: to offer sanctuary, healing, and hope to animals who have suffered, and to humans who have faced trauma themselves. Our animal therapy programs connect veterans, first responders, and others with these rescued animals, allowing both humans and animals to experience the healing power of connection.
