As a child, his family couldn’t afford Thanksgiving dinner — a memory that continues to inspire his heart for service today. What began as a small act of generosity has grown into a cherished annual tradition that brings hope, joy, and full tables to families across the country.

For over a decade, Realty of America has organized Thanksgiving turkey giveaways, turning success into service and gratitude into action. These events are more than donations — they’re community celebrations designed to uplift families and remind them they’re not alone.

“You know, when we were growing Realty of Chicago, it was always a dream — to become a successful businessperson and create a business that could give back. In Chicago, we’ve been giving back to the community for over 12 years. Literally a year after we opened and made a few dollars, we started giving out turkeys, school bags, and more. Now it's grown to thousands of families fed in Chicago, and starting in 2024 we took the initiative nationwide.” — Eddie Garcia
