Hammers & Ales is Richmond ToolBank's annual fundraising event featuring a half-day community and corporate volunteer team-building experience where participants use ToolBank materials, tools, and instructions to build an array of outdoor furniture and placemaking features that are donated to dozens of local community organizations in need!

Build for a cause when you register your team for Hammers & Ales. Your team of volunteers will contribute to safe and vibrant public spaces throughout Richmond and beyond by hand-building features like picnic tables, garden beds, planter benches, adirondack chairs, and more. For over a decade, these pieces have been donated to groups including: Henrico County Public Schools, Good Neighbor Village, Ring Dog Rescue, James River Park, and more!

We invite you to the Richmond ToolBank warehouse as we host "community builds and brews". Enjoy local craft beverages, tasty food, and fun engaging games. Be part of something bigger and let's build lasting change in Richmond together one nail at a time!
