About the 2021 RVC Fellowship Graduation Fundraiser

What does it mean to be a Changemaker?

We think of Champions as the folks who are always ready to get down with Community, whether through participating in actions, mutual aid, being there for your people when times are hard, being the bridge between elders and youth, or just lifting up those in your community.

Changemakers are the people who are committed to not only defending and uplifting Community, but committed to becoming the movers and the shakers, the keepers and the defenders, the leaders we've been waiting for. Changemakers use sharp intersectional lenses to co-create solutions with Community; they collaborate with other sector leaders and movers and shakers to uplift, push forth, and create the change they are seeking.

Who are the 2019-2021 RVC Changemakers?

In 2019, we welcomed new cohorts of our Community Impact and Green Pathways Fellowship Programs. These cohorts are striking examples of what it means to show up in and for Community. Their collective care, passion, and vision for communities are impressive and inspiring, and RVC could not be more proud to celebrate the work and contributions of the 2019-2021 RVC Changemakers!

A celebration!  On Saturday, August 14th, join us online for Champions to Changemakers, a graduation and community celebration honoring the 2019-2021 Community Impact and Green Pathways Fellows. These 20 Fellows have spent the last two years at local grassroots organizations investing their time and energy into serving and empowering their communities. This fundraising event supports RVC's Fellowship Program, and these amazing leaders are a testament to the importance of this program and its impact.
