CHOICES: Center for Reproductive Health is an independent, nonprofit community health agency that provides patient-centered medical care and champions sexual and reproductive rights. With locations in both Memphis, Tennessee, and Carbondale, Illinois, CHOICES provides a full spectrum of reproductive health services, including medication and procedural abortions, midwife-led prenatal care and births, gender affirming care, HIV testing/prevention, and more.

SisterReach is a Memphis, TN based grassroots 501c3 non-profit supporting the reproductive autonomy of Black women, women and teens of color, poor and rural women, gender expansive people, and their families through the framework of Reproductive and Sexual Justice. Our mission is to empower our base to lead healthy lives, raise healthy families and live in healthy and sustainable communities achieved through a 4-pronged strategy of education, policy & advocacy, culture shift and harm reduction.

The Purple Parlor Fund is deploying financial capital in support of RED, WHITE AND BLUE’s impact initiative, bringing the film, its dialogue, questions, and impactful story to audiences who have been traditionally closed to the conversation. This particular opportunity will be especially potent in states and locations that are not unequivocally partisan, often referred to as ‘purple,’ where RED, WHITE AND BLUE presents a possibility for common ground and civil reconciliation. Target audiences will be comprised of people from different faiths, economic realities, party affiliations, and levels of political awareness, engaging in discussions that explore how legislation introduced or enacted after Dobbs is impacting the lives, health, and safety of friends, neighbors, and loved ones, including in ways that some may find surprising. The Purple Parlor Fund’s primary goal is to spark many personal and private conversations—beyond the in-theater or talkback experience—which can subsequently take place within families or subsets of communities. Collectively, these many interruptions, in aggregate, can make a meaningful difference this fall and beyond as we head into another pivotal election where issues of economic justice, reproductive rights, and the right to one’s bodily autonomy will disproportionately impact the lives of so many.
