Denyse began “Rock Your Red” as an event to Empower, Educate and Encourage Women and Men on Heart and Stroke diseases. Thirteen years ago, Denyse underwent open heart surgery for a congenital heart disease. As a result of her traumatic experience, she can share with women and men the warning signs of heart disease.

Denyse’s passion is to spread awareness for a Healthy Heart and to reduce cardiovascular disease deaths one heartbeat at a time. Denyse’s “Why” in Life is her family. Rock Your Red is a nonprofit organization with a mission to educate, encourage, and empower men and women about cardiovascular diseases. Our goal is to raise awareness about the importance of heart health and provide resources and tools to help people take control of their cardiovascular health. Our Board of Directors and Volunteers are dedicated to providing accurate and up-to-date information about heart disease, its risk factors, and ways to prevent it.

We aim to significantly improve the cardiovascular health and wellbeing of the members of our community through education, awareness, training, support, and services to reduce the lives lost to cardiovascular diseases. We provide free preventive education and services to our heart community to reduce the overall death rate by 10%. Our goal is to significantly improve the cardiovascular health and wellbeing of the members of our community.
