In March 2025, my life changed when I was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
From the moment I was diagnosed, through treatment and the grueling days that followed, New York Oncology Hematology (NYOH) was monumental in helping me and my family get through one of the hardest times of our lives. Their doctors, nurses, staff and support made an incredibly difficult journey feel a little less impossible.
Today, I am incredibly grateful to be on the other side of treatment, and I want to give back to the organization that gave so much to me when I needed it most.
My name is Katie, and I'm a wife and stay-at-home mom from Loudonville, NY, with three amazing kids: two boys, ages 9 and 7, and our little princess who will be 5 in November. Today, I'm incredibly grateful to still be here, doing what I love most, being a mom and watching my children grow. I know so many others have not been as fortunate, which is why giving back to the organization that helped me through the hardest time in my life means so much to me.
When I'm not busy keeping up with my three kids, I'm probably planning a party. I can turn just about anything into a reason to bring people together.
