I've been volunteering with the PourHouse Welcome Home Team since 2017, and I can't begin to describe how special it is to see a family or individual light up when we show up at their new space with a truckload of things to make it feel cozy and like home - whether it's a race car bed for a child or a fully stocked kitchen for a single parent, it's a joy and honor to get to cross paths with them and be part of their fresh start.
This year, in honor of the PourHouse Welcome Home Team, I'm running the Indianapolis Mini Marathon on May 2 and hoping to raise $3,000 as part of the Race to Restock ahead of Clear the List Day on May 30, so we can move in as many people as possible into their new homes with fully stocked supplies for them! My original goal was $2,000, but you all blew that out of the water in less than 24 hours with your generosity, so I've increased my goal to $3,000!
