hi everyone!

long story short: I've created this gofundme to escape dysfunctional abuse. In recent years, i have faced verbal, physical, financial, and emotional abuse. (with my own flesh and blood stealing from me, putting their hands on me, touching my things without permission, and ultimately disrespecting me because I am the "youngest".)

With recent, unfortunate events that have transpired—(an older relative admitting to having inappropriate thoughts about me, expressing their desires to be physically intimate...) I have decided that I must finally leave for my own personal safety & good.

in further triggering detail, this older relative has revealed to me in September of 2025 (last month as I'm writing this on October 23rd, 2025) the reason they targeted me - or saw me as a prospect for their depravity - was because they thought i was "vulnerable," "isolated," and "alone." this has negatively impacted my mental health since the beginning of JANUARY, as that was the first time I heard that they had any feeling towards me.

They began telling me again how they felt in April, May, June, July...and I've lost count to *how* many times exactly this was said to me. The first two times, (in January like previously stated) they told me not to tell anyone - especially our parents. or our siblings. I naively pushed this down in the beginning of the year, thinking that in the midst of us bonding, that they were just speaking intrusive thoughts... I soon began to realize this was not the case as they began to tell me this over, and over again, much to my dismay.

In July of 2025, was the final time where I had confronted them and gave them an opportunity to apologize. And while they did, and have profusely apologized, they did not fail to double down on what they had said to me in prior months. Going so far as to say they've seen me this way for years... which only further harmed me not only emotionally, but spiritually, as we has previously lived together.

I simply have no wish to be in the same state as them. I have tolerated mistreatment for far too long, and no desire to stay in the same environment that is ultimately breeding generational curses.

as I deal with chronic pain/disability, (scoliosis that prevents me from working a 9-5) I just pray for 2 months to assist me with being up on my feet & securing healthier housing in which i may feel safe. All funds will immediately go to securing an apartment, (utilities, bills, etc.) no doubt. that is my biggest priority, and main concern right now.

overall, I'm praying to come home to a place that actually feels like home without the abuse or gaslighting sprinkled into it. I have had previous unfortunate altercations with relatives, and with this recent event... it became my final straw. & has encouraged me to advocate for my voice to be heard, as well as give support to others who may be going through similar dysfunction within their own environments. (trust me, we will make it.)
