154 million new tennis balls in the US every year. It is such an absurd number that if you lined them up end to end they would stretch from New York all the way to Cairo. Every. Single. Year.

And most of them are used for a match and then tossed in the trash. That's about 3 hours of use. Each one can touch up to 17 countries in being made. But they get played with for just a few hours. Until the RecycleBalls community took action there was no other option. Now those materials can be reclaimed and turned into something new and useful and good.

You care. That's why you're here. You care about the places you play and the communities you belong to and the planet you want to leave in better shape than you found it.

You want the things you love to have a life after their first life.

When you give today you are helping pull those balls out of the waste stream. Your making sure they turn into new tools for kids, arena footing for therapy horses and volunteers, equipment for health centers, and fresh new sports surfaces for people who want to learn, grow, and move. Even new tennis courts.

And you're not alone! You're joining a community of people who are making a difference just like you.

People like Kaovya who rallied her whole town to recycle thousands of balls while she was in high school. People like Mark who loaded his truck six times to rescue twenty thousand forgotten balls. People like Marny who turned a college equestrian arena into a safer, quieter place for riders with extra challenges.

Thousands of donors and volunteers who are changing the way we do sports. Starting with the tennis ball.

When you give you are stepping into that circle. You are helping write the story of what is possible when we take something we love and choose to give it a next life.
