154 million new tennis balls in the US every year. It is such an absurd number that if you lined them up end to end they would stretch from New York all the way to Cairo. Every. Single. Year.

And most of them are used for a match and then tossed in the trash. That's about 3 hours of use. Each one can touch up to 17 countries in being made. But they get played with for just a few hours. Until the RecycleBalls community took action there was no other option. Now those materials can be reclaimed and turned into something new and useful and good.
