Dear supporters - Thank you for all of your support of the Rent Is Too Damn High this year. With your help, we've been able to:

• Hold a historic demonstration of renters at the state capitol, the largest assembly of Michigan renters in decades
• Build a statewide coalition of 50 member groups and counting
• Strengthen local housing organizing in Lansing, Detroit, Ann Arbor, Grand Rapids, Pontiac, and other communities around the state.

Despite our progress, the landlord lobby is still powerful at the state capitol, and they were able to block our major demands from passing this fall.

That's why we are doubling-down with an investment in tenant organizing and leadership development for 2024. Next spring we will hold a tenant organizing training series around the state, and continue to put down roots by recruiting more tenant leaders to this movement.
