During an intense day documenting at the Broadview ICE facility, my telephoto lens went missing. I don’t know exactly how or when it was taken, but despite searching everywhere, I haven’t been able to find it.

This lens is a crucial part of my journalism and storytelling. It allows me to capture moments from a distance, document protests and immigration actions, and continue sharing stories that often go unseen. Without it, I cannot cover events with the same depth and accuracy that this work requires.

The lens originally cost about $2000 when I bought it a few years ago. A few people have asked where they could donate to help, so I’m starting this campaign specifically to replace it.
