MISSION

Provide humane services for animals and compassion for their people.

VISION

A compassionate community where all animals are humanely cared for and safe.

DEDICATED TO THE COMMUNITY
Every year, Rescue Village opens its doors and hearts to over 3,000 animals—offering a safe haven for the homeless, the abused, and the neglected. Here, they receive expert veterinary care, daily enrichment, and the compassion they deserve.

Beyond shelter walls, Rescue Village serves as a vital resource for people and pets across Northeast Ohio, providing critical support and services, including humane law enforcement in Geauga County.

To inspire action and raise awareness, Rescue Village hosts a variety of beloved fundraising events throughout the year—most notably Woofstock, the four-time award-winning dog festival that brings animal lovers together in celebration and support.

Education is at the heart of our mission. Through Summer Kids Camps and community outreach to schools, universities, congregations, and service groups, we foster empathy and kindness in every generation.

Established in 1974, Rescue Village stands as a pillar of excellence in animal welfare—committed to saving lives, strengthening families, and building a more compassionate community.
