Persia Alpaca's Story
Persia has been a part of Unity Farm Sanctuary since 2012, born to Ella Mae and half-sister to Daisy Mae. As a matriarch in the herd, she defers only to Ella Mae and Orchid. Initially nearly grey, her coat has matured into a dense, rich caramel hue.
Did you know? Alpacas thrive in herd settings, forming close bonds and communicating through vocalizations like humming for calmness or nerves, and bugling when alarmed.
