Ripley, surrendered to UFS during the pandemic era at under two years old, arrived malnourished but we quickly corrected this. Always fearful of needles and veterinary work, Ripley has learned to accept farrier care over time.
Due to failing rear suspensory ligaments, Ripley experiences ongoing discomfort. Special shoes help preserve his hooves and alleviate some discomfort, though his condition is genetic, not from overwork. Despite these challenges, Ripley has found a permanent home at Unity Farm Sanctuary.
Support Team Ripley Pony and help us provide ongoing care and comfort for our resilient pony!
