Miss Amelia, a Gloucestershire Old Spot pig, stands out with her distinctive "umbrella" ears, which are characteristic of her breed. Born with a unique charm, her eyes remain hidden under these large ears, possibly a lovely brown shade, though some pigs sport pretty blue eyes.

Originally destined for the market, Miss Amelia has surpassed her peers from the auction days, finding sanctuary at Unity Farm Sanctuary. Here, she's embraced as the little sister among larger farm pigs, where her nervousness during mealtime led us to create a quiet feeding area just for her.

Miss Amelia's journey highlights the resilience of farm animals and the importance of providing them with a safe haven where they can live their lives peacefully.
