Penny, our spirited Yorkshire pig, exudes joy with every prance and playful nose bop. At 9 years old, she's a resilient survivor, having overcome a rough start as a neonate with the dedicated help of caring veterinarians. Born a runt, Penny remains smaller than her littermates would have been, marked by notches on her ears from her early days.

She loves bananas and a variety of fruits and vegetables, showcasing her appetite by effortlessly crushing whole pumpkins and pineapples. Penny enjoys a life filled with pig companions and human friends who cherish her playful antics.

Recently diagnosed with skin cancer, Penny receives ongoing care and support from the sanctuary's veterinary team, including chemotherapy treatments to improve her health.
