The Reyes Scholarship Fund (RSF) invests in rising leaders of California's Central Valley, by supporting our youth through education, mentoring, personal and leadership development, and merit scholarships -- and to help them thrive to and through college and career.

About the Reyes Scholarship Fund

Established in 2016, The Reyes Scholarship Fund (RSF) was created by the Reyes family to empower and uplift the next generation of leaders from California’s Central Valley. Founded in honor of Gusmaro and Bernarda P. Reyes, the scholarship reflects their lifelong commitment to education, hard work, civic duty, and public service — values they instilled deeply in their children and community.

The Reyes Scholarship Fund provides financial and personal support to low-income and first-generation graduates of Theodore Roosevelt High School in Fresno, CA, helping them achieve their dreams of higher education and lifelong success.

Education was a cornerstone of the Reyes family’s values, and today, that legacy continues through every Reyes Scholar. RSF’s year-round programs not only help students afford college but also nurture confidence, leadership, and resilience.

Since its founding, 85% of Reyes Scholars have graduated within four years — exceeding the national average and proving what’s possible when students are supported both financially and emotionally. Each graduate goes on to strengthen their families, their communities, and the entire Central Valley.
