🪷 Experience the magic of Hindustani classical music with acclaimed vocalist Deborshee Bhattacharjee – He trained under the guidance of his mother Reena Bhattacharjee and Pandit Ajoy Chakrabarty. A senior Musician of ITC Sangeet Research Academy, Kolkata and an A-graded artist of All India Radio, and an empanelled artist of ICCR, Government of India. He got his debut album, “New Signature” released by Ustad Zakir Hussain.

About Sangeethaamsha

Founded during the 2020 pandemic when classical musicians in India faced unprecedented challenges—with live performances banned and teaching opportunities eliminated—Sangeethaamsha began as a grassroots effort by a small group of volunteers from the San Francisco Bay Area who raised funds to support artists through virtual Zoom concerts for US audiences.

What started as an emergency response has evolved into something much larger. Encouraged by enthusiastic feedback from our local community, we incorporated as a California 501(c)(3) non-profit in 2022. Since then, we've raised over $20,000 towards music initiatives, sponsored scholarships for promising musicians in India, and built a thriving community of 2,500+ music aficionados. We've hosted acclaimed musicians from both local and international stages across multiple innovative formats.

Our mission is to nurture, teach, and provide access to diverse arts experiences, with a particular focus on promoting the rich heritage of classical music to young community members and mainstream audiences across the United States. We organize live events in the traditional "Baithak" style, creating intimate exchanges between artists and audiences that deepen musical appreciation, accelerate learning, and enhance interpretation of the artist's musical expression.

Beyond performances,we host free workshops, and welcome visiting teachers and artists to perform in intimate and memorable venues. Whether experienced in person or through streaming video, each event is designed to create meaningful connections and memorable experiences for all involved.
