We started with a moment we couldn’t ignore.

Imagine being married for almost 30 years, and discovering that your husband’s mother founded an all-girls school in Nigeria? What!? That's exactly what happened...so of course we had to go and visit this school!

But what when we arrived; we didn’t expect the condition of the classrooms.

Some of the classrooms had gaping holes in the ceiling. Desks were pushed to one side just to avoid the out door elements.
There was algae and fungus growing in the classrooms.

And yet, those girls showed up ready to learn.

That moment stayed with us.

Not just because of what we saw…
but because of what we knew was possible.

At the same time, we began to see a similar need closer to home—elderly homeowners living under damaged roofs, unsure how to navigate repairs, often choosing to live around the problem instead of fixing it.

And we realized something:

This wasn’t just about one school.
This wasn’t just about one home.

This was about becoming the covering.

Roof Over Head was created to restore what’s been left exposed—to repair classrooms so children can learn in safe environments,
and to support elderly homeowners who need help restoring the place they call home.

We’re just getting started. But the vision is clear.

One repaired roof becomes a safe classroom.
One restored home becomes peace of mind.
And one act of generosity becomes the answer to someone’s prayer.
