Share–A–Gift is an all-volunteer, secular annual holiday project that provides toys, books, and bicycles for children of low-income families in the Boulder Valley School District. Share–A–Gift is a 501(c)(3) under IRS rules and has operated as a non-profit, all-volunteer organization since 1972 -- nearly 50 years! Last year, in response to the Covid pandemic, we implemented a new drive-through "Toy Shop" in order to safely serve our community. Our 2020 drive-through shop was a tremendous success, providing holiday gifts to over 740 families, and that was all made possible through generous donations by supporters like YOU. 

Because of the continuing risk of gathering large numbers of people indoors, our 2021 gift distribution will once again be a drive-through event, with pre-sorted bags of gifts for each family and a limited number of masked and vaccinated volunteers. To prepare for this event, we are focused on collecting used bicycles and purchasing new bikes, toys, books, sporting goods, and art and crafts supplies in bulk. Like last year, we are appealing to the greater Boulder community for financial support. We sincerely hope we'll be able to return to normal operations in 2022.

If you supported our drive-through toy shop last year, THANK YOU! If you have supported Share-a-Gift in past years by donating toys or by volunteering your time, we hope you will consider supporting us this year with a monetary contribution. A gift of $25 will enable us to buy a new toy for one child. $100 will cover the cost of a new bicycle. $200 will provide gifts for all the children in a family.
