Help SAL Community Services collect 15,000+ diapers to be distributed through Hiney Heroes' network of agency partners! Join us for our community-wide diaper drive to help Hiney Heroes stock their shelves and ensure families have this important resource for their children!

As a partner with Hiney Heroes of the Quad Cities, SAL is collecting diapers to be distributed to families in Scott (IA) and Rock Island (IL) counties! Your support will help families right here in our community!

Diaper Donation Drive By on Monday, October 23 between 6 a.m. - 6 p.m.

To kick off our week-long collection at the SAL Community Services wants to make it easy!
Drive through and drop off your donation to SAL Community Services (SAL) .
Stay in your car and drive on by to our office at 3800 Avenue of the Cities | Moline, Ilinois! Follow the cones and signage to make your donation!

What We Are Collecting:
Diapers and Pull Ups of all sizes
Especially looking for diaper sizes 4, 5, and 6!

**NOTE: Open packages are accepted and welcome!

Why is SAL Community Services collecting diapers?

SAL Communtiy Services is grateful to be a partner agency with Hiney Heroes of the Quad Cities to help the famlies we work with each and every day. Hiney Heroes Diaper Bank is dedicated to providing diapers through partner agencies to Quad Cities and surrounding area families who need a clean, reliable supply of diapers for a healthy and comfortable quality of life.

What is Diaper need?

Families in our community are experiencing Diaper Need. This means that families have a lack of sufficient supply of diapers to keep a baby clean, dry and healthy!

Did you know...

46% of families report having experienced diaper need
Diapers cannot be obtained with food stamps
Disposable diapers cost $70 to $80 per month per baby
No state or federal child safety-net program allocates dollars specifically for the purchase of diapers
Without transportation, buying diapers at a convenience store rather than a large “big box” store can significantly increase the monthly cost of diapers

Diaper donations will be accepted between 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. from Tuesday, October 24 through Friday, October 27 at the following locations:
