Giving Tuesday kicks off SBCHC's year-end giving campaign! By joining the Giving Tuesday movement, you’re proving that generosity can bring the whole world together in times of uncertainty.

As we look back on 2024, we are filled with gratitude for the support of our community. Your contributions have been vital in enabling us to provide comprehensive healthcare and social services to the Houston community, particularly specialized maternal healthcare for young, low-income pregnant women and their newborns. Our mission is to enhance pre-and postnatal care quality across Harris County. Our Maternal Program is a cornerstone of our outstanding Women's Health Services, which have positively impacted countless women in the Spring Branch, West Houston, Katy, and Northwest Houston areas. For 20 years, SBCHC has been here to help the most vulnerable women and children by providing high-quality healthcare.

Your support empowers us to continue providing essential maternal health services and other vital programs. To prepare our moms-to-be for their newborns, we provide Prenatal Classes free of charge, where the young mothers learn about:

Physical and emotional changes during pregnancy
Nutrition
Signs and Symptoms of Labor
Stages of Labor
What to expect after delivery

During these educational sessions, we provided nutritional food demonstrations to support healthy prenatal care for mothers and babies. Each series of classes concludes with a celebratory Baby Shower, where every participating mom receives gifts to help her prepare for life with her newborn.

Your ongoing support is crucial for our team to fulfill our mission and effectively budget for the coming year! As we proudly celebrate 20 years of service this year, SBCHC remains dedicated to uplifting the communities of Spring Branch, West Houston, Cy-Fair, Katy, and Northwest Houston. We provide affordable, high-quality healthcare and essential support services to meet the needs of uninsured and underinsured patients who rely on us.
