CANCER does not stop for COVID!

JEN'S STORY

42 year old Jen is a loving wife and a mom of two daughters age 2 and 7 battling stage two breast cancer. Both Jen and her daughter are immunodeficient and with covid they are pretty much at home or at the infusion center receiving treatments.

With three surgeries down and two surgeries to go, Jen came on board with us with her family to escape from all of the treatments and to make positive memories while on the water sailing.

Sailing is one of the few outdoor socially distancing activities that provide peace and respite. Is there a better way to bring pleasure to a family struggling with cancer?

Jen was nominated by a former performing arts teacher “Jen is a former student of mine and I've learned through Facebook that she is battling cancer.. I remember her as a bright, vibrant and vivacious artist with a great laugh who was incredibly loyal and giving to her friends - as best I can tell - she has not changed one bit and I am sure that she will embrace the experience which will allow for precious time with herself and her family away from cancer!”
