Lucky Bikes Takes on the SBT GRVL

This June, six riders from Lucky Bikes are taking on one of the most iconic gravel races in the country, the Steamboat Gravel Race (SBT GRVL) in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Over race weekend, thousands of cyclists will ride rugged gravel roads, climbing thousands of feet through ranch land, aspen groves, and high-country terrain.

But our team isn’t just racing for the finish line.

We’re riding for kids.

Why We Ride

Every day at Lucky Bikes we see the moment it clicks for a young person:
The first time they fix a flat.
The first time they confidently ride across town.
The first time they realize they are capable of more than they thought.

A bike can be transportation.

Funds raised through this ride support:

🚲 Adventure Rides – Giving youth the chance to explore Colorado’s trails and build confidence through outdoor experiences.

🔧 Earn-A-Bike Program – Kids learn mechanical skills, responsibility, and perseverance while earning a bike of their own.

⚙️ High School Bike Shop Internships – Providing hands-on job training, mentorship, and real work experience for local teens.

The Challenge

Our Lucky Bikes team of 6 riders is training for months to take on the challenge of SBT GRVL. Gravel racing isn’t easy, it's long miles, steep climbs, and unpredictable terrain.

But the challenge is part of the point.

Because the kids we serve face challenges too. And with the right support, they overcome them every day.

Our Goal

Together, we’re working to raise $10,000 to support Lucky Bikes youth programs.
