About Our Choirs

Sherwood Community Chamber Choir (SCCC): Founded in 2014 by William Evans, SCCC is a volunteer auditioned choir of about 60 singers. Evans, who taught choral music at Sherwood High School for 37 years, leads the choir, supported by Kenny Phillips, Assistant Music Director. The choir’s mission is to enrich the community and its members through choral singing and concerts.

Vocal Accord: Established in 2022, Vocal Accord (formerly the Sherwood Community Chamber Ensemble) consists of 14 members of the Chamber Choir and focuses on a small ensemble choral music repertoire.
