About Street Cats Club

The Street Cats Club is a volunteer-powered nonprofit based in Emporia, Kansas, working to improve the lives of stray and community cats through high-impact, humane solutions.

Our primary focus is Trap/Neuter/Return (TNR)—a proven method that humanely traps outdoor cats, spays/neuters and vaccinates them, and returns them to their outdoor homes. This prevents unwanted litters, reduces nuisance behaviors, and creates healthier, more stable communities for both cats and people.

Since launching high-volume TNR, we’ve sterilized thousands of cats across the region—and the need continues to grow. With an estimated 10,000 stray cats in Lyon County alone, our work is far from over.

We also support our community through free cat food assistance, winter shelter distribution, and spay/neuter support for low-income pet owners.

Every dollar raised helps us fix more cats, prevent suffering, and create lasting change.
