Sant'Egidio Christmas is #Christmasforall: it is our promise to those who are most in need, to those who are poor and lonely, to those who are elderly and feel the burden of isolation, to the many who have found themselves having to ask for help because they are impoverished or jobless.

They are our friends; to them we give the gift of Christmas. We give them all the joy of Christmas: a meal and a gift.

Our Hope

this is our promise to those most in need, those who are poor and lonely, those who are homeless, those who are elderly and feel the burden of isolation.

Over the years we have organized to offer food to so many, often entire families who have suddenly found themselves without jobs and resources. Throughout the United States, Communities of Sant'Egidio distribute meals to thousands of individuals every week.

Last year, thanks to the help of so many people, we offered Christmas lunch to 1,000 people in the U.S. and 250,000 around the world, we opened places of welcome to those who were homeless.

Let us not leave anyone alone! Let us give everyone the joy of Christmas: a lunch and a gift. We can do it, together with you. If everyone does a little, together we will do a lot. Every donated lunch, every gift, carries a heartwarming message: you are not alone, we are not alone.
