Update: Joanie Jett was adopted by one of our wonderful fosters who fell in love with her. She is living her best life now thanks to all of the generous people who helped her recover and get medical help! Thank you!!

Joanie Jett was rescued from the streets barely alive with mange. Her rescuer took her right to the vet and contacted Act 2 Rescue. A college student, she used her savings to help her survive. 3 weeks later Joanie was doing well and ready to go up for adoption.

This sweet little kitten and her foster/ rescuer have battled so hard. Joanie is the sweetest kitten. She visited me for a check up and is cuddly and loveable. But Wednesday she took a turn for the worse. By Saturday she’s refusing all food. She’s in emergency right now. She may have a blockage. They’re trying to find out what’s wrong. She’s fought so hard to have a life please help her foster save her. Unfortunately our rescue emergency credit cards are all maxed so we can’t help this crisis. You are joanies only hope. Sunday update: I went to see Joni this morning and took her a toy to play with by interacting with the foster. The toy is to help her stay motivated to move around. I also took her baby food and probiotics to try to help Little Joannis tummy process what is going on. Her foster mom he has been watching her all day and she’s doing a little bit better today.

Joni goes back to the original vet tomorrow for her check up we are monitoring her status closely. Thank you to everyone who is helping us get on top of these bills they add up really fast.
