My name is Morgan Wilson, and I am an Honors student at Texas A&M University, a member of the Class of 2025.

I am also a graduate of Santa Fe High School, Class of 2021. On May 18th, 2018, there was a shooting at the school that took 10 lives, physically wounded 13, and mentally scarred countless others. This was the very end of my freshman year - I lost my best friend and nine other amazing people. The Santa Fe Community lost so much on that day, but we banded together and came back stronger than ever.

We have since created The Unfillable Chair (dedicated May 18th, 2021) and Warrior Spirit (dedicated May 18th, 2023), which are standalone remembrance pieces (see below) intended to be a part of the permanent Memorial. Working on The Unfillable Chair made me further realize that I wanted to give back to the community and help us continue our healing journey.

Currently, I am working on my Honors Capstone service project at Texas A&M University. I have designed this project to be a year-long fundraiser, created with the goal of contributing to the completion of the Santa Fe Ten Memorial. Nearing 6 years later, the Memorial is still a work in progress. As of now, The Unfillable Chair and Warrior Spirit are the only components of the Memorial that have been funded, completed, and dedicated. Both reside on the grounds of Santa Fe High School and are a part of a much larger whole.

I will greatly appreciate any amount that you can donate. If you cannot afford to donate, I would appreciate it if you could tell others about this fundraiser and/or spread it on social media. There is no set goal for this fundraiser- I just want to raise as much as possible!
