Midwest Geriatrics, or MGI, is an Omaha-based, nonprofit organization. Housed in Florence Home, we are the proud management team for Florence Home Healthcare Center, Royale Oaks Assisted Living, House of Hope Assisted Living and Memory Care, and Gerimed Pharmacy.

For over 117 years, we have been the hidden gem in Omaha for quality, affordable and personalized care for older adults.

For us, it’s about ensuring our residents have all the comforts of home: great food, great company, a peaceful and safe environment with home-like settings and that’s where your donations are so important.

In 2024, we are replacing much needed upgraded hvac systems for our residents at Royale Oaks and House of Hope and making improvements to our elevators at Florence Home. Although these are not the usual heartfelt appeals we communicate, they are warm and fuzzy, ensuring our residents have warmth, comfort and accessibility to enhance their home here.

Patti Bishop, who originally resided at Royale Oaks Assisted became a resident at Florence Home Healthcare Center because staying in our community was extremely important to her. Patti states, “I have all my friends here, it’s truly home. The nurses, the caregivers all care about each one of us and I’m never lonely here.”
