FUNDRAISER / TICKETS

We will divide the profit from tickets three ways, evenly: to Rook, to Anita, and toward a riding mower to make it easier to host events in the future :) You'll see several ticket options. All the tickets are the same, this is just so you can select the price that balances generosity with sustainability for you. Please pay what you can.

All are welcome, feel free to invite people.

SCHEDULE

3-5pm: Option to get your hands dirty - Come early and help clear invasive plants to support the native understory.

4-6pm: Dinner & Chill. Relax, hang out, explore the woods and creeks, set up your picnic blanket/chairs for the show, set up your tent if you plan to camp out. We WILL have food available with vegan/gluten-free options and non-alcoholic things to drink.

6-8pm: Live show during sunset! Music by Anita Lorraine Moore and Rook Grubbs (Vaughn Aed).

8pm onward: Bonfire & option to camp overnight

WHERE

This will be held outdoors on the land where Morgan & Anita live, near Saxapahaw.

FOOD

We are cooking for you! Anita is a soup champ, so that will almost definitely be on the menu. Again, we'll use a pay-what-you-can model. Vegan and gluten-free options. You are also welcome to bring your own picnic dinner.

COVID PROTOCOL

We ask that each participant follow the guidelines offered by the CDC. Please be responsible for your own health and wellbeing and respectful of others. The event will be outdoors. We trust you to use your discretion and to prioritize safety and respect. We are more and more aware of breakthrough cases (meaning that vaccinated people can still get sick), so that's information to hold as you make your choices around how to engage.

PARKING

Attendance is limited by parking, so please carpool if you can. If you have 4-wheel drive and are able to walk a little way, please consider parking along the driveway. The main parking area is near the buildings, all the way up the driveway. Please leave a few spots in that section for folks who cannot walk as far.

CAMPING

There is ample space for camping here, and we welcome you to do so.

BATHROOM

The great outdoors is a great place for you to take a leak. Please select a spot that is not too close to the creeks and do not leave toilet paper anywhere on the land. We have a basic compost toilet available as well. If these options do not work for you, there is a flush toilet in the house.

FAMILY-FRIENDLY

Yes! Your kids are welcome here!

PETS
