We are looking for donations to help us fund our first print run of 2023 and our travel to April and May's Princesses with Powertools events. It's been a busy year for Reinvented so far, and we don't plan on slowing down yet! We are gearing up to print Issue 15 featuring some really incredible women in STEM working from the space industry to marine biology! We are also preparing for 3 princess events in April with even more coming through the rest of 2023!

What is Women's History Month?

Women's History Month is an annual declared month that highlights the contributions of women to events in history and contemporary society. This year, the National Women's History Alliance, which spearheaded the movement for March being declared National Women's History Month, has announced the women's history theme for 2023, "Celebrating Women Who Tell Our Stories." Throughout 2023, the NWHA will encourage recognition of women, past and present, who have been active in all forms of media and storytelling including print, radio, TV, stage, screen, blogs, podcasts, and more. The timely theme honors women in every community who have devoted their lives and talents to producing art, pursuing truth, and reflecting the human condition decade after decade.

Reinvented actively works to highlight and amplify the stories of professional and studying women and non-binary individuals in STEM.

What is Reinvented Inc.?

Reinvented Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization on a mission to reinvent the general perception of women in STEM fields while inspiring interest in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) for young women worldwide. We aspire to break barriers and aid the movement to get more girls involved in STEM through our three core programs:

Reinvented Magazine

1. Reinvented Magazine: Reinvented Magazine is a quarterly print magazine that shares the stories of other women in STEM. Each issue features interviews, DIYs, and advice for the aspiring women in STEM who read our magazine. Over the last 3.5 years we have printed 15 issues and have reached over 10,000 readers in all 50 states and over 30 different countries.

One-for-One

2. One-for-One: The One-for-One Program is all about accessibility. We want to make sure that everyone and anyone has access to our content and the role models we highlight, including students in underserved areas where digital access isn't available. We collaborate with other nonprofits, Title I Schools, and libraries in low income communities to donate magazines to girls who may not otherwise gain exposure to STEM content.

Princesses with Powertools

3. Princesses with Powertools: This program helps young girls learn how to use their first power tool, a hand drill, and students are taught by none other than their favorite princesses. Our princesses attend in-person events, such as Maker Faires and STEM Expos, across the country and teach students that they can be both a princess and an engineer. In 2023 alone, so far, our princesses have taught over 1,000 students how to use a Powertools and create their own DIY constellation projector!
