I’m excited to be running The Spring Lake 5 in support of The Alayna Jayne Foundation, a wonderful local charity that provides financial assistance and support for adolescent and young adult (AYA) cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy. Specifically, they help those who wish to use cold caps to preserve their hair, offering an invaluable sense of normalcy during an incredibly difficult time. As someone who is currently finishing treatment for Hodgkin's Lymphoma, I can personally attest to the amazing work that this foundation offers! The emotional support alone has been incredible and as a warrior myself, I am filled with gratitude for such an amazing organization!
