Addie Satterfield's Story

I’ve been passionate about triathlon since I was seven years old, and a few years ago, I started racing in elite draft-legal triathlons. I love competing alongside other athletes in my age group, and I truly enjoy training with my teammates and traveling to out-of-state races. Triathlon has taught me not only hard work, time management, and perseverance but also valuable life skills that extend beyond the sport. This year, I’m preparing for five races outside of our home state, all of which are qualifiers for the national championship in August in Ohio. However, the sport can be very expensive, with costs adding up for three disciplines and travel to out-of-state events. I would be incredibly grateful for any support you could offer as I continue this journey and work towards my goals. Thank you for considering my request!
