Scarborough Little League is a place where hundreds of children build friendships, learn teamwork, develop confidence, and create lifelong memories. For youth sports that are inclusive and community-based, behind every game, practice, and tournament is a tremendous amount of work by volunteers to maintain and improve the facilities that make those experiences possible. It also takes a tremendous amount of generosity from hundreds of people and businesses from Scarborough to make it possible.

Our primary goal in SLL is to keep baseball and softball affordable and accessible for the girls and boys of our town. As our league continues to grow, so do the needs of our fields and facilities. Registration fees help cover the day-to-day costs of operating the league, but major facility improvements require additional community support. Every donation to our 2027 Field & Facilities Improvement Fund helps ensure that our players, families, coaches, and volunteers have safe, functional, and welcoming places to play for years to come.

Our 2027 & Beyond Improvement Priorities

Our Board of Directors is currently planning several important capital improvement projects that will enhance the experience for every player and family who visits our facilities. Our goal is to help support the continued growth of our league for decades to come.

Peterson 2 Softball Field

Improvements to the Peterson 2 Softball Press Box and storage shed to better support game operations, scorekeeping, and volunteers.

Peterson 3 Field Improvements

Field enhancements designed to improve the playability and overall condition of Peterson 3 for both baseball and softball. These improvements will need

Building improvements to better serve players, families, volunteers, and tournament visitors while creating a more efficient and welcoming concession experience.

St. Max Fields

Repairs to existing facilities along with construction of a much-needed new equipment storage shed to better support field maintenance and continued playability..

Springbrook & Willey Fields

Ongoing maintenance and improvements to preserve the quality and safety of these important community playing fields that serve softball and baseball needs for our younger players.
