At Sarasota Military Academy, we believe athletics are more than just sports, they’re an opportunity to build leadership, discipline, teamwork, and resilience in our cadets. However, as a charter school, SMA does not receive the same level of funding for athletics as traditional public schools. To keep our programs thriving, we rely on a combination of pay-to-play fees from each athlete and the generosity of our community through donations.

Every contribution directly benefits our student-athletes and ensures they can continue to grow on the field, court, and track—while building the confidence and character that lasts a lifetime.

Choose your SPECIFIC designation:

SMA Prep Middle School Athletics - General Fund: Team equipment and uniforms, transportation to games and competitions, facility upkeep and improvements, opportunities for all cadets to participate, regardless of financial ability

Volleyball: Equipment, uniforms, travel, tournament fees, referees, coaching support, athletic trainer, team photography, banners, and end-of-season awards/banquet.

Cross Country:

Golf: New bags, carts, apparel, and help covering greens fees and practice costs.

Basketball: New gear, event travel and entry fees, plus support to host a holiday tournament or start our own league.
