This year, the CHASCO YMCA will be closed to all other activities during the CBF event. We will shuttle shoppers from multiple locations to ensure ample parking and access.
Story
The FIRE Foundation is excited to be part of the largest entrepreneurship event for kids in North America. The ESTEAM Academy Children’s Business Fair hosted by The FIRE Foundation is a unique, one-day marketplace showcasing the creativity of tomorrow’s business leaders.
Here, entrepreneurs ages 4-17 are challenged to create a product or service, develop a brand, build a marketing strategy, and compete for customers. Parents are prohibited from selling or promoting their child’s product at the event. At this event, kids are the boss!
With 80 booths, 120+ young entrepreneurs, and over 1000 shoppers in 2023, the Children's Business Fair (CBF) has grown into a greatly anticipated annual community event in Round Rock!
In 2024, the CBF is growing again! We expect to host 100 booths and 175 young entrepreneurs. In addition, through our partnership with the CHASCO Family YMCA, we are again co-locating the CBF event with the YMCA's Healthy Kids Day. We expect holding both events simultaneously will result in 1500+ people in attendance. To allieviate the parking issues we had in 2023, the YMCA will be shuttling shoppers to the event from a number of locations.
In addition, The FIRE Foundation offers CBF Workshops to support young entrepreneurs in building their businesses and preparing for the big day. As part of these workshops, local business leaders share their expertise while mentoring the next generation of business owners.
The FIRE Foundation invites you to join us in supporting the smallest small businesses in Round Rock through sponsorship. These funds ensure that the workshops and event run like clockwork for the entrepreneurs, customers, competition judges, and volunteers.
