Theatre has always been a huge part of my life. When I was in elementary school, I went to see my local middle school’s production of The Little Mermaid. I thought it was the coolest thing ever and decided, right then and there, that I wanted to act. Since then, theatre has been my crutch—whenever I’m feeling a negative emotion, I just think about how much I love being part of different productions, and it almost instantly makes things better. Even now, being in SSA and getting this amazing opportunity has helped me tremendously and will hopefully continue to support me for many years to come.
