I started my theatre journey when I was 11 and have been making art ever since! Impact Arts and Summer Stock Austin are huge reasons for my success as an artist.
Growing up in Title 1 schools, I often found it challenging to seek out adequate training. Classes and private lessons were far too expensive for my friends and me to afford, and my school’s productions struggled with little to no funding. Impact Arts gave me the chance to receive tuition-free training, which was truly life-changing.
As a senior in high school, I worked with this company as a performer and nominee at the 2022 Heller Awards for Young Artists. That year, I won Best Featured Performer in the Ensemble Category, and the support from my Impact Arts family helped motivate me to keep pursuing my passion for theatre arts.
I am entering my senior year at Texas State University, where I am pursuing a BFA in Theatre Performance and Production with a minor in Dance. Throughout my college career, I have worked as a choreographer and director at various schools and companies across Central Texas. I am currently an instructor at the Adderley School's Austin campus, and getting to help young artists find their passion is such a rewarding experience.
I am so happy to return to my Summer Stock Austin family as a creative intern so I can continue empowering young artists in my community. Please help us continue changing lives through the magic of live theatre!
