SUNDAY April 6, 2025 4pm  - Spring of Hope (with SSO Chorus) The Southland Symphony Orchestra and Chorus, Dr. Sylvia Lee Mann, Music Director and Conductor,  is joined by the University of La Verne Chamber singers in this beautiful presentation of works for chorus and orchestra. From the timeless Mass in G by Franz Schubert and Felix Mendelssohn's beautiful  "Verleih uns Frieden" (a German setting of the Dona Nobis Pacem text), to the beautiful works of Jose Elizondo - La alborada de la Esperanza (The Dawn of Hope) and  Mira el sol (Look at the sun), this concert will be a magical immersion into beautiful music celebrating the human spirit. featuring soloists Ariel Pisturino, soprano; John Dick, tenor; and Michal Dawson Connor, bass.
