The Southland Symphony Orchestra and Chorus is pleased to present our 2023-24 Season Opening concert.

We are  thrilled to be presenting John Rutter's “Gloria”  with our wonderful Southland Symphony Chorus

We are also featuring Harpist Ellie Choate in the beautiful “Concerto de Aranjuez” by Joaquín Rodrigo (We will be performing the composer’s own version for Harp and orchestra)

Also on the program -  Benjamin Britten's "Soirées Musicales", (Musical Evenings), Op. 9, a suite of five movements by Benjamin Britten, using music composed by Gioachino Rossini. 

Special note - Dr. Mann will be conductiong the Rutter at Carnegie Hall in New York in the Spring of 2025, by special engagement with Mid-America productions.
